Cooking Club (4th- 5th Grade)

We will be learning how to make some fun and easy recipes. We will learn how to read a recipe, measure ingredients, and try some basic cooking and baking skills along with trying some new foods and old favorites. We will be using a stove and oven for some of our recipes, so we expect all students to show safe and responsible behavior to stay safe in the kitchen.   We can have a total of 8 students for this session due to the small size of our available kitchen.

We will be meeting for 6 sessions total from 3:40 pm-4:45 pm.

In our club, students get to practice simple Hmong words and phrases, learn about Hmong traditions, and enjoy activities like storytelling, art, and music. We will celebrate the beauty of Hmong culture while building friendship, curiosity, and respect for different backgrounds.
